The winners of the tournament will be receiving a trophy, made of precious metals, studded with 5.12 carat diamonds and precious and semi-precious gemstones. The trophy stands 1.5 feet tall and weighs just over 6 kg.
- Twelve t20 teams from 7 countries will participate in this tournament.
- There are 3 teams from the Indian Premiere League which are Deccan Chargers, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils.
- Two teams from Australia, England , South Africa and one team from West Indies, New Zealand and Sri Lanka will be participating.
